General description:

Bearberry is a small creeping bush with bright green leaves and delicate white or pink flowers followed by bright red berries.  It is commonly seen in the Arctic region or in northern Europe, Asia or North America. The berries are a favourite food for some bears, hence the name.

 

Functions and general science:

This herb is commonly used for urinary tract health due to it’s astringent, diuretic and urinary antiseptic properties.
