The Swisse Scan app uses a world-leading scanning technology to recognise and verify authentic Swisse labels. A positive scan result confirms that the Swisse label is authentic. The logo icon associated with the app cannot be replicated and uses the most advanced surface scan identification technology available.

SECTION 2: USING THE SWISSE SCAN APP

 

Q: Where can I download the Swisse Scan app?

A: The app is available for iOS on the Apple App Store and for Android on the Google Play App Store. We plan to launch the Android version on a number of other popular app marketplaces around the globe in 2017. Check back here regularly to stay up to date on everywhere the app can be downloaded.

 

Q: On which devices can I install the Swisse Scan app?

A: Currently Apple iPhones using iOS 8 and above and Android phones using 5.0 and above. Other devices will follow and will be confirmed on this page as they become available.

 

Q: What is the current version of the Swisse scan app?

A: The current app version is v1.1.1.
 

Q: I’m having challenges scanning the icon. How do I get the icon to scan?

A: For best scan results, please follow these usage tips:

  • Minimise shaking of both the camera and product
  • Rest product on steady surface such as a table or shelf
  • Follow the on screen advice when lining up the scan
  • Scan in a well-lit space
  • Always scan with the camera square to the label icon

Q: My product has an icon that looks like the one pictured in the app, but I cannot get a confirmation scan reading.

A: You may experience difficulty in obtaining a scan reading if the container is moving or shaking. For best scan results, please see the usage tips outlined above.

Q: I’ve scanned a specific Swisse product label multiple times and received different scan confirmation results. What does this mean?

A: Different scan results may occur if the container is moving or shaking. For best scan results, please see the usage tips outlined above. If, after following the usage tips you are still receiving different scan confirmation results, we ask that you share details of this experience via our online form.

 

Q: After scanning my Swisse product label icon, the app provided the message “Product Authentication Not Verified”. What does this mean?

A: The app was unable to verify the authenticity of the Swisse product label you scanned. Please provide us more information about the product via our online form.

 

Q: The product I have appears to be inauthentic. What should I do? Can I get this product replaced?

A: Please contact us via this online form. Once we have some more details we will be able to communicate how best to return the product and proceed.

 

SECTION 3: ROLL-OUT OF THE SWISSE ICON ON PRODUCT LABELS

The Swisse label icon is being rolled out gradually across the entire Swisse range of products.

 

Q: Which Swisse products contain the new icon labels?

A: For a list of products that contain the scannable icon on the packaging, check out our Label Icon Rollout Tracker. Please note, there will also be a period where some label versions of a product (e.g. Swisse Ultiboost Liver Detox) will contain the icon, while others will not. Please continue to check the website and the list of products and label codes.

 

Q: My Swisse product label does not contai­­n an icon like the one pictured in the Swisse Scan app. What does this mean?

A: This means that your Swisse product label cannot be scanned by the Swisse Scan app. The most likely reason is that the scan icon has not yet been added to this product label or it is from a label batch produced prior to the icon being rolled out to this product. Click here for a list of products that have the scan icon on the packaging.

 

Q: When will all Swisse product labels contain the scan icon?

A: The Swisse label icon is being rolled out gradually across the entire Swisse range of products. Due to the size of the Swisse range, this process will take some time and we currently have no fixed date for rollout completion. There will also be a period where some label versions of a product (e.g. Swisse Ultiboost Liver Detox) will contain the icon, while others will not.

This App is designed to recognise and verify authentic Swisse labels. A positive scan result confirms that the Swisse label is authentic. The logo icon associated with the app cannot be replicated and uses the most advanced surface scan identification technology available.

 

Q: Does this app verify the contents inside my Swisse product container?

A: This App is designed to recognise and verify authentic Swisse labels only. This App cannot guarantee the product within a Swisse vial that has been verified by this App.

Where the Swisse Scan App confirms the authenticity of the Swisse label, Swisse can confirm that at the original point of filling by Swisse Wellness, the content of the container was authentic Swisse product. Swisse cannot guarantee the contents of the container except at the original point of filling.
